A flight-path visualization tool that maps airplane routes and aircraft ranges on a globe or flat map — a nerdy intersection of my geography education and my love of travel and flight.
What it does
Pick a starting airport, pick an aircraft, and Miles Game plots how far you can fly — visualized as great-circle paths on a 3D globe or projected onto a flat map. It’s part planning tool, part data toy: I built it because no existing route planner let me see range and reachable airports together in a way that felt intuitive.
Why this exists
I studied geography and I’ve never lost the habit of asking how far can I get from here? Miles Game is the answer for aircraft. It uses real great-circle math and aircraft range data — not the squiggly lines airlines actually fly, but the geographic truth of distances on a sphere.
