I made a significant career transition when I joined Atlassian, moving from drawing upon nearly a decade of diverse experience across government agencies, enterprises, and fast-growing startups. Transitioning from leading IT team development, I eagerly embraced a new role in Technical Enablement, collaborating closely with sales and marketing leadership to innovate new programs for our channel partner ecosystem.
Project 1: Launch Enablement Academy
In my first year, I collaborated with stakeholders and subject matter experts across Atlassian to conceptualize and implement a comprehensive partner training catalog comprising over 120 modules (equating to over 16 hours of learning content).
The launch of the Enablement Academy not only allowed me to utilize my technical expertise to educate partners on effectively positioning, selling, and delivering services using Atlassian’s suite of tools but I also learned about the broader perspective on the business as a whole. This experience expanded my understanding beyond the technical aspects, which had been the primary focus of my previous roles, to encompass a more comprehensive view of Atlassian’s operations and objectives.
